It baffles me when people that have been playing animal crossing their entire life figures out that animalese is just the alphabet sounded out phonetically sped up. its astounding.
I personally always heard it with smaller words or one word sentences.
Idk I may just be weird and you didn’t know, if you slow down the villagers they speak a phonetic version of your language ☺️

when people refer to canon story-relevant kingdom hearts games as ‘spinoffs’ it makes me sad not only for the obvious reasons i always say but also bc like man i WISH this series had spinoffs. imagine what they could do if they had permission from nomura to truly go off the rails and ignore the greater canon for a second and just do some fun whimsical plotless thing in an alternate universe. imagine a fishing/boating game on destiny islands. kh fighting game. it is an injustice that we have been deprived of kingdom karts. can anyone hear me
#in terms of alternate gameplay and lack of reliance on plot#i feel like melody of memory is the closest thing kh has actually had to a spinoff#but even that is important in its own way in the end#union cross to a certain degree as well what with being an online multiplayer gacha type game#its original concept i would definitely classify as a spinoff game#bc it was set in a totally different world and time period and was supposed to be about customization and fun with friends#and nomura or someone said it wasn’t meant to be connected to the plot#but then like. he did very much go and give it a plot. like he went back on that almost immediately#and even then. given that the game is still very much combat and exploration#even from the beginning can it really be called a spinoff? it’s just kh in a different format#i’m talking like a game in which the objective is something totally different.#racing game or cooking game or fighting game or (another) rhythm game#ace attorney style detective game. dancing game. dude i don’t know#there are so many different flavors they could go with here#alas nomura is allergic to genuine whimsy which is hilarious given that this is a disney series#like he apparently was like ‘ohhh should we really let sora in smash? would it make sense in the story?’#my brother in christ surely we’re not supposed to interpret this as canon to kh right? right????#i guess it’s just that the kh franchise has a very specific pristine vibe he wants to maintain#which is disney shenanigans as a seasoning on top of a main dish of Stone Cold Serious Anime Plot#kingdom hearts#kh#mine: kh

I'm just going to leave this at that#This was inspired by a dream I had about watching a post-apocalyptic(?) anime movie about two survivors going through their lives#Apologies if that one was yapped before in this blog. Trying to keep repeating statements already mentioned before is a habit I hope to avo#Anyway. It was almost a dialogue-less movie. actually not sure if the characters did say anything#The movie doesn't explain stuff to you. You just got dropped in a world and experience with the main characters for a few days#In the dream after watching that movie I went to Tumblr (naturally. Lol) and theories about it popped out#And there was a connverse cross-over fanart of it. Lmao#One of the main characters was EXTREMELY calm and stoic. And the connverse AU version of it was that's because Steven is in a comma and his#Pink mode activated as a defense mechanism against the creatures around while in such a state. 😭 So Pink Steven from Change Your Mind#And like. Oh? What if he's conscious? He's just watching his body have a mind of it's own and he can't control it? That's kinda terrifying#And of course like most of my dreams about shows I enjoy. I’ll admit it, I’m really kinda pissed about DATV being basically a “cozy” game, because I do not like “cozy” games. I do not play cozy games because I do not like cozy games. That is, in fact, why I liked the Dragon Age series - because it was not cozy, it was not black-and-white morality, it did not hold your hand and tell you the exact message it wanted you to get. I liked it because it was messy and grey and you had to figure out for yourself what messages might be there. I’m pissed because they did a rug pull with the series and gave me the exact kind of game I do not like and expected me to be happy about it.

#keese draws#new game+#grips sink and tries not to cry#isat#ok anyways I just drew this because I wanted to try out an isat profile html someone on toyhouse made#plus I’ve been rotating early on less completely fucked up chou in my mind recently#anyways did you know that comicfrin (at least in one panel) doesn’t wear gloves? fun stuff#oh wait speaking of forgot to tag them#comic siffrin#anyways important note! them looking less disheveled than siffrin is on purpose#chou started off their loops Far more mentally stable than siffrin and actually managed pretty well their first run through#it still was rough and they still were a bit of a sad wet trembling puppy abt it but they were generally doing just fine#they didn’t even go on a self loathing monologue after their first death! who is this guy!#dw the self loathing is still there it just takes a bit longer to hit in full force since again they started off more stable#anyways I probably should have cross referenced some move animations for this but I think I got the point across that they’re a support#unit even if the turn passing gimmic is not rly evident (idk if I could make it evident tbf)#shout out to how in their default kit they have 6 turn passing skills and only one attacking skill#also said attack as a cooldown of. five turns. tbf that’s because it has a pretty strong secondary effect#they also have three other support moves where they boost different damage types for a round#so yeah they’re basically pure support which they sorta had to be at first because bestie started off at level like. 5.#they ofc switch up their kit pretty damn fast after the first run#but first time around when they were leveling at abt the same rate as everyone else they were content to play support
